Look, I never planned on becoming “that nutrition person” everyone texts at midnight about their diet struggles. It just happened.
After watching my father battle weight issues his entire life (and lose), I dove into nutrition science during college instead of partying. Fifteen years and thousands of client transformations later, I’m still obsessed with one question: Why do smart, dedicated people get stuck in fitness hell?
I created FitMindsetDaily in my garage in 2018 after leaving a cushy corporate wellness job. Why? Because I was sick of watching the industry sell magic pills while real people—like my client who cried in my office after her sixth failed diet—needed actual solutions.
My approach isn’t sexy. I won’t promise six-pack abs in six days. What I will do is show you exactly why your body fights back when you cut calories, how to recognize when your metabolism is downshifting, and the psychological tricks I’ve developed to stay consistent when motivation dies (usually around day 17).
When I’m not writing or coaching, you’ll find me testing my theories on myself, failing at growing vegetables in my backyard garden, or trying to convince my teenage kids that my dad jokes are actually hilarious.
